How do I schedule a time to view the property?
Visits are arranged by appointment only to view the property. Please call (618) 615-1541 or email blackjackvineyard@gmail.com to schedule a day/time.
What is required to book Black Jack Vineyard? Is there a payment plan available?
A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your date. The remaining balance is due four weeks prior to the event date. A payment plan can be setup upon request.
How far in advance do I need to book?
We typically book out a year to a year in a half in advance. If you are partial to a particular date, we would encourage you to contact us as soon as possible.
What time will I have access to the property to start decorating/setting up?
You will be able to start setting up on Friday at 12:00 noon.
Do we have to clean up immediately after our event?
No. We want you to enjoy your special day. However, everything MUST be cleared out by 11:00 a.m. the next day. Violation of this policy could result in an additional fee.
We are using outside vendors. Can they drop items off and pick them up outside the rental period?
Yes. However, we ask that you have your vendors contact us two weeks prior to your event to make sure we can arrange an appropriate time.
Can we use the property for our rehearsal?
Yes. We allow the use of the property for your rehearsal at no additional cost. We do ask that you coordinate this with us.
Do you provide food or drinks?
No. Luckily for you, we allow you to use a vendor of your choice. The majority of couples find this to be a much more affordable option.
Do you allow pets on the property?
No. We ask that you leave your furry friends at home.
Do you have any decor restrictions?
Yes. We request that you do not use any decorations that leave any kind of residue, permanent mark, or excessive mess (silly string, confetti, glitter, spray decorations, etc.) inside or outside our venue. No tacks, staples, pins, or tape on the tables or chairs.
Do you allow sparklers or fireworks?
No. Black Jack Vineyard is located in a beautiful wooded area and thus no sparklers, fireworks, firecrackers, bottle rockets, floating lantern releases, fire pits, or fires of any kind are allowed.
Are you open to the public during the week/end?
No. Black Jack Vineyard is not a winery open to the public. We are a farm that grows the grapes and sells them to local wineries for the wine making process.
